The latest episode in the “True Facts” series sheds light on the secret lives of owls.

Nobody likes watching lengthy and rather tedious wildlife documentaries. This 5-minute-long and quite funny clip, on the other hand, is sure to get people's attention.

As explained in the video, owls look really cute when they're hatchlings. The bad news is that, sooner or later, they grow to become “specialized hunting machines.”

Hence the fact that people who aren't careful around them risk losing a finger or two.

What I've found most interesting is the fact that an owl's face is designed to help the bird hear better.

Thus, it captures noises in the bird's surroundings and guides them towards its ears. Neat, don't you think?

Check out the video to learn many other mind-blowing things about these elusive creatures.
