Mind you, one doesn't need to have access to a state-of-the-art chemistry lab to be able to perform these tricks. This is because these little stunts all boil down to toying with water.
I don't know about you, but I for one have to admit that I've found the trick that's about causing a cooled-down bottle of pure water to freeze simply by smashing it against a table most entertaining.
Then again, learning that when you put a glass of water on top of a whiskey one the alcoholic beverage eventually replaces the water in the top glass was pretty amazing as well.
