Bet you didn't know tigers are strong enough to get into a fight with bears and win

If you're having trouble sleeping at night because you can't stop wondering what animal is the world's strongest, fear not, you'll finally get some shuteye. After you watch the video below, that is.

The footage made it online a couple of days ago, and it documents 10 of the strongest animals currently populating various corners of the world.

Not at all surprisingly, crocodiles, tigers, bears, elephants, and anacondas have all made it on the list. Shockingly enough, it turns out tigers are actually strong enough to pick a fight with bears and win.

What's really interesting is that, reputation aside, neither of these top predators can count itself among the three strongest creatures in the world. In a nutshell, it's insects that hold the three top positions.

As detailed in the video, leafcutter ants can carry leaves that tip the scale at 20 to 50 times their own body weight. The Hercules beetle, on the other hand, can lift things about 850 times heavier that its body.

Mind you, I'm not going to tell you which creature is the world's strongest. You'll just have to watch the video to find out. Spoiler alert: contrary to expectations, it's mindbogglingly teeny tiny.

Here's hoping you'll enjoy watching the video as much as I have, and feel free to share your thoughts on it in the comments section below.
