The video below was posted on YouTube just yesterday, yet it has already scored over 50,000 hits. I don't know about you, but I for one can sense it growing into a viral sensation.
The footage shows one really cute hedgehog celebrating its birthday and sharing a piece of cake with its two hamster friends. Needless to say, all three animals seem to have one very sweet tooth.
“Too cute and hilarious. Those hamsters don't mess around when it comes to food,” one viewer who goes by the name Wanda Horton writes, and I for one share her opinion.
Since it was its birthday (and probably also because animals don't exactly make great chefs), the hedgehog did not cook the birthday cake itself. On the contrary, it had a woman, presumably its housekeeper, bake it.
For the time being, it is unclear what presents the two hamsters got the tiny hedgehog. Then again, hamsters are sort of like rats – cute, tiny ones, but rats nonetheless – so maybe they did not get the birthday boy anything.
