14 DAY TRIAL // Most people already know that cicadas are to return to the US east coast this spring. And that they'll be showing up by the thousands.
The time-lapse video above sheds new light on the life of these insects, and pretty much answers whatever questions we might have about cicadas.
The video is intended to be a documentary, and was created by Samuel Orr.
This filmmaker titled his video “Return of the Cicadas,” and says that he plans on turning it into a one-hour-long documentary in the not so distant future.
“Cicadas are among the most fascinating insects, and the 17-year periodical cicadas are the most interesting of all,” Samuel Orr believes.
However, he needs our help in order to succeed in his endeavor.
