For those who did not get the chance to see this year's supermoon rising on June 23, and for those who might enjoy reliving the experience, here's a gorgeous time-lapse video showing a stunningly big and bright moon traveling across Greece's night sky.

V-Light, who made the video and posted it online, explains that the moon was caught on camera as it was rising over the forest in Kriopigi, Greece.

The pictures that make up this time-lapse video were shot with a Canon 60D.

As reported, this June 23 the moon appeared about 14% bigger and 30% brighter than usual. It became visible shortly after sunset.

Apparently, a supermoon as big and as bright as this one won't make an appearance until August 2014.

While we're busy waiting for a repeat-performance, we can feast our eyes on this time-lapse video.
