14 DAY TRIAL // Keeping hydrated is of utmost importance, and the koala featured in the video above seems to be fully aware of this. Hence its deciding to gulp down the water of a cyclist it met while hanging out on the side of a road in South Australia.
Funnily enough, the koala even agrees to let the cyclist pet it, most likely in order to show that it is very much thankful for the water it got.
Some of the people who got to watch this video say that the koala must have been sick; otherwise, it would have done its best in trying to keep away from the cyclist.
“Something had to be wrong with that poor animal to let you so close. Addled, outcast, or sick. Poor thing,” reads one comment to this video.
“It doesn't look injured though. I wonder why he/she was so close to the road though,” another one says.
