The video is an advert for the newly launched LG G FLex

After watching this new advert for the LG G Flex, I'm not only speechless, I'm horrified. Maybe I don't get the message, but it certainly is the most bizarre commercial I have ever watched. Even talking about it makes me feel uncomfortable.

Unless the message the company wants to convey is that the LG G Flex is a smartphone for freaks, the commercial is completely awful. You don't really get to see much of the phone in it.

If you can get through the whole video, you will see that the title “The Most Human Phone Ever” explains almost literally the content of the clip.

The situation presented in the spot shows two guys who are celebrating the birthday of one of them. After a German singer dressed in a matador-mariachi outfit wishes him Happy Birthday in his own way, “Danny Boy” receives a gift.

That's when the most awkward element pops up – a talking bearded hand that can be fed cheesecake and attacks the user with a crab claw. And that's not all, when the birthday boy gets home, he makes out with his own hand, apparently talking on the phone to his girlfriend. Just gross!

I think LG went a bit too far with their idea of humanizing this cellphone. I just wish I could unsee this.
