14 DAY TRIAL // I've watched my fair share of PETA videos over the past year and a half or so, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's this: this organization just loves to shock people and scar their retinas with gruesome footage shot at animal farms, puppy mills and the like.
Hence, I was quite surprised to stumble upon this video that encourages people to embrace a vegan diet not by making them feel guilty about eating meat, but by teaching them about how cool cows are.
Rest assured, this free PETA lesson on what makes cows super awesome is part and parcel of the organization's ongoing efforts to get people to quit eating beef, but, unlike other videos that serve the same purpose, this one can be watched without blinking or cringing.
“Cows are smart, social, and sensitive,” the organization stresses. Hence, they don't deserve being turned into hamburgers, steaks and whatnot.
