Earlier this week, on Wednesday, the Obama administration released a video explaining why the record freeze that hit the country could not be labeled as evidence that global warming was not real.

Stephen Colbert saw fit to also take a stand against what climate change and global warming deniers were saying over the past few days, except that he did so in his own way, EcoWatch informs us.

Check out the video below to see what Stephen Colbert has to say about claims that the cold snap proves that global warming is no more and no less than a hoax.

I don't want to spoil your fun, so I'll only tell you this: he starts by referencing the words of “top climatologist” Donald Trump who, as we all know, is not a big fan of renewables.

As reported, the cold snap that hit the United States appears to have taken its toll on the country's economy. Thus, specialists estimate that the costs associated with this record freeze amount to $5 billion (€3.67 billion).
