14 DAY TRIAL // Because of an unexpected voting glitch that happened on last week's show, Selena's “Slow Down” performance was pushed to this week's X Factor show. The young singer rocked the stage, teaching contestants a few things about energy and stage presence.
I must say, I'm not really crazy about the song, but Selena's outfit is pretty cool. That all-black slinky outfit and the matching boots really change her. The new look and the amazing back-up dancers go well with Selena's transition to a more mature performer.
“Every day I get told I'm not [hot] enough,” Selena said earlier this month while posing for Flaunt magazine. Well, this performance proves everyone wrong, because she looks hot enough and she rocked the dance floor.
As all the Disney stars trying to grow up in the audience's eyes lately, Selena also took a few steps towards shedding her good girl image. Not as raunchy as Miley Cyrus or uninspired as Justin Bieber, but Selena is trying to change her fans' perception of her.
At least she chose a close-to-decency way of doing that, far away from twerking or sleeping around, if you know what I mean.
