It’s no longer a secret that Samsung will take the stage in New York’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday, June 2014, to make a much-awaited announcement.

There has been talk of Sammy’s AMOLED tablets for a while now, but the slates failed to make an appearance in the wild. But this week, at the Galaxy Premiere 2014 event we’re most likely going to see the Galaxy Tab S tablet duo be unveiled for the whole world to see.

In anticipation of the big event, Samsung has posted a small teaser video, where we’re invited to tune in and “Tab into Color” for the special occasion. This is the latest confirmation of the fact that Samsung’s AMOLED tablets are indeed coming and albeit not being able to see them in the video, their contour is visible.

The Galaxy Tab S family is expected to arrive in 10.5-inch and 8.4-inch flavors, adopting a proficient resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The two tablets will draw power from an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor fitted with Mali-T628 graphics and 3GB of RAM plus 32GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card).

The devices should also come equipped with two cameras (8MP on the back and 2.1MP up on front) and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
