The first thing the cubs lay their eyes on is their mom

Earlier this month, I introduced you to a pair of polar bear cubs born at Hellabrunn Zoo in Germany. As if the two baby polar bears did not look cute enough in the pictures released by staff at the facility back then, it would appear that they have become even more good-looking.

Check out the video above if you don't believe me that these cubs are some of the most adorable creatures you've ever laid eyes on, and get ready for a cuteness overdose.

As detailed by Huffington Post, the footage shows the twin polar bear cubs opening their eyes for the first time ever. Their mom is hovering over them, hence the fact that the first thing the twins see is its nose.

Since the polar cubs were born, keepers at Hellabrunn Zoo have only been able to observe them with the help of cameras installed in their and their mom's den.

They say that they do not wish to disturb the family, and that they will wait until the cubs willingly come out of the enclosure to have a closer look at them.
