14 DAY TRIAL // PETA is not one to give up all that easily, which is why, despite the fact that most of its campaigns end up being poked fun at sooner or later, the organization is still doing its best to convince people to embrace veganism.
This time, the animal rights activists have decided to take a stand against the practice of eating meat or dairy by releasing this fairly shocking video.
The footage, dubbed “7 Seconds in the Dairy Industry,” was shot at a farm. It shows a worker using a hot iron to kill off the tissue on a cow's head that would grow to become horns.
As PETA tells us, this is common practice at such farms. Whenever they do not use hot irons, workers turn to caustic chemicals.
The organization says that those who do not approve of this practice have one option at their disposal: go vegan, and quit supporting this cruel industry.
