The brawler is coming to Japanese arcades in March

If you're impatiently rubbing your hands and flexing your fingers thinking about the upcoming Tekken 7, you're in luck. A fresh gameplay video has emerged from a location test in Korea, showing quite a bit of the brawler's crazy action.

The video features a ton of friendly faces that just want to give each other a hug, including Paul, Lars, Kazuya, Xiaoyu and Leo, showing off their arsenal of moves and a lot of fancy explosion effects whenever their blow hits land.

Just think how much better (and utterly confusing) the fights in The Matrix would have looked with those neat visual flourishes.

Also, as the footage is displayed at 60 frames per second, it looks dynamic enough to give you an itch that can only be scratched by pummeling some virtual faces. Which you will get to do much later than you would want to, namely starting sometime in March, 2015, in Japanese arcades.

A ton of exciting stuff

The game is being built on Unreal Engine 4, and by the looks of it so far, it's going to feature some pretty snazzy visuals.

In addition to this, Tekken 7 is also set to introduce some new mechanics, in the form of Rage Arts and Power Crush, detailed by publisher Bandai Namco a short while after the title was initially revealed.

Power Crush enables gamers to keep attacking even if they are getting hit by the enemy, sacrificing health in order to dish out punishment, and Rage Art will perform some unblockable moves that deal a lot of damage, at the cost of not being able to activate the normal attack power increase.

Furthermore, Tekken 7 will also ship with some new characters, and so far three have been confirmed by Bandai Namco Games, namely Lucky Chloe, Katarina Alves and Claudio Serafino.
