Nikon has been keeping us guessing for quite some time now about the DF camera, and this new teaser trailer makes no exception. It centers on a photographer, accompanied by his ever-faithful roadie, the new Nikon DF camera, traveling to various, history-rich locations in Scotland.

You can see it in full above.

Besides some beautiful landscapes, rain soaked roads and dramatic sunsets, the video also offers a glimpse at the new Nikon DF camera, equipped with the new special edition Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G lens.

The camera will also feature a standard Nikon F-mount capable of metering even with non-AI lenses down to full aperture, an FM2-like design, and Pentaprism viewfinder complemented by a 16.2MP 36x23,9 full frame sensor.

The tagline of the teaser is “Savor photography all over again on November 5, 2013" hinting that the new Nikon DF camera will be finally revealed to the public on that date.

Incidentally, that’s just a few days before Le Salon de la Photo show that will take place in Paris, between 7 and 11 of next month.
