As reported on several occasions, four young people are currently getting ready to travel to the North Pole and plant a flag on the seabed in this part of the world.

Their goal is to prove that the Arctic belongs to the people, and that the people do not want various companies to commence drilling activities in these frozen regions.

The four Arctic explorers who are to embark on this journey later this month are actor Ezra Miller, Josefina Skerk from Northern Sweden, Keira Kolson from the Northwest Territories, Canada and Renny Bijoux from the Seychelles.

“In a few short days, a group of brave adventurers will set off on a gruelling trek across the Arctic Ocean to fulfil this promise as part of a global movement now almost three million strong,” Greenpeace writes on its website.

Despite their lacking any experience when it comes to being Arctic explorers, these four young people seem determined to succeed in their mission. All we can do is wish them good luck.
