14-minute music video leaks online, sends Little Monsters into a frenzy

Just hours before the official release, the full-length official music video for Lady Gaga's “Marry the Night” has leaked online. It clocks in at a little under 14 minutes, is her most personal to date and even better, you can see it below.

“Marry the Night” marks Gaga's first solo directorial effort. She also contributed to the script for it, which would explain the many personal references and the not too subtle tributes inserted into it.

As noted above, the clip is almost 14 minutes long, with the song kicking in at around the 9th minute. In other words, it's plays out exactly like a short film.

However, unlike similar videos from the artist, this is one is personal, tackling themes such as artistry, integrity, reinvention, insanity, love, passion, impulsiveness.

Gaga may come across like a maniac in the video but it's the end that we will remember: regardless of what she's been through, she managed to reinvent herself (in the clip, from ballerina to pop dancer) and she came out on top.

Or, as she says earlier on in the vid, “I'm gonna be a star one day. Because I got nothing left to lose.”

Check out the video below in its entirety. *Please note that discretion is recommended when watching it.

*Later update [December 2, 2011]: The official version has been added. See it above, in much better quality.
