14 DAY TRIAL // Perhaps one of the most anticipated releases of the year is “Snow White and the Huntsman,” with Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, Kristen Stewart as Snow White and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman.
Below is a behind the scenes video with Oscar-winner designer Colleen Atwood, in which she offers plenty of details on the costumes that the two female leads will be seen wearing.
As she puts it, the costumes are more than clothes and more than film haute couture: they are reflection of who the character is and his/her evolution in the film.
Atwood talks about the challenges of designing clothes fit for a warrior for Snow White and, at the same time, outfits that would best reflect the madness and evil mind of the Queen.
In doing so, she offers an insight into an aspect of filmmaking that is often ignored by mainstream audiences.
