14 DAY TRIAL // This Tuesday, a kitten with two faces was born in Oregon. A vet examined her shortly after it was born and said that, apart from the obvious abnormality, the kitten is in good health.
Owner Stephanie Durkee told the press that, because the kitten's mother rejected it some minutes after giving birth to it, it is now up to her to feed it by hand and look after it.
Funnily enough, Stephanie Durkee admits that, when her kids first told her that they had seen a two-faced kitten, she had trouble believing them.
“The kids actually found them and came in and said, ‘mom there's a kitty with two heads,’ and I said, ‘I think you guys are just tired, you're crazy, that doesn't happen,’” the woman said.
It rarely happens that animals with two faces are born, and most of them sooner or later develop various health complications. Hopefully, this kitten will have better luck.
