With millions of animals living in shelters, buying from breeders makes little sense

Animal rights activists worldwide seem dead-set on convincing people that adopting a pet is far better than buying one from a breeder or a pet store, especially seeing how roughly 6-8 million animals enter shelters on a yearly basis in the US alone.

In this video, Kevin McHale, whom most people know from the American series “Glee”, joins hands with PETA and explains how the decision to adopt a dog pretty much changed his life.

“The best way to help homeless animals is to always adopt and never buy,” explains Kevin.

Truth be told, after watching how much fun this celebrity is having with the dog he took under his care only a few months ago, it is quite likely that those who plan on becoming animal owners in the not so distant future will weigh their options more carefully.
