James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger are now working together on an eight-episode series titled “Years of Living Dangerously.”

A few days ago, the series got its first trailer. Check it out in full in the video above.

Mongabay reports that “Years of Living Dangerously” is scheduled to debut on Showtime in April 2014. The series will tell the story of how climate change and global warming are affecting not just wildlife, but also human communities worldwide.

Politicians, journalists, and actors will all be featured in it and will help shed new light on how said phenomena are bound to forever transform the world as we know it.

As the people working on this project put it, “This multi-part television event tells the biggest story of our time: climate change and the impact it's having on people right now in the U.S. and all over the world.”

Furthermore, “Over the course of eight episodes, we'll report on the crippling effects of climate change-related weather events and the ways individuals, communities, companies and governments are struggling to find solutions to the biggest threat our world has ever faced.”

I don't know about you, but I for one cannot wait for the series to hit the screen.
