The 1999 hit drama “Fight Club,” starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt as leads, tackled major topics like violence / anarchy and insanity with the help of a story the likes of which had never been done before: what if two men started underground clubs where guys could come and fight among each other, without ever as much as a consequence?

And what if they started an army of sorts later, to bring about total anarchy?

In his most recent video, Richard Trammell is using one well-known scene in the movie to explore how “Fight Club” would have looked if Brad Pitt’s character Tyler Durden didn’t exist.

You can see it in full above, but *be advised that discretion is recommended because of one instance of language that might offend.

Of course, if you’ve seen the movie, you’re probably already appreciating the subtle irony in the video. Towards the end of “Fight Club,” viewers find out that Tyler Durden never existed and that he’d been a figment of the imagination of Norton’s character.

So, while the video is actually pretending to have fun at the expense of the film, it is actually offering a real representation of how it would have looked had it not deceived viewers that Durden was real. Enjoy!
