Disneynature is getting to roll out yet another environmental film, which is expected to hit cinemas on April 18, 2014, just in time for Earth Day.

Titled “Bears,” the film will focus on the lives of two mother grizzly bears and their cubs. As explained by the people working on this project, the goal is to draw people’s attention to both this iconic species and to the wonders of the Alaskan wilderness.

“What we’re trying to do is to take people to one of the most beautiful landscapes on our planet – Alaska – and engage them in a really emotional story about one of the most iconic animals on our planet, the grizzly bear,” explains Alastair Fothergill, the film’s director.

Since some of the money received by Disneynature for each ticket purchased during the opening week will be spent on green-oriented projects, greenheads will probably wish to save the date and head to the nearest movie theater on April 18 next year.
