Back in February, the Russian city of Chelyabinsk got hit by several bits and pieces of a meteor that had exploded in our planet's atmosphere.

As explained in the video above, the meteor's explosion led to the formation of a massive dust cloud.

The dust cloud took only a few hours to form, and soon started traveling east at a speed of about 190 miles per hour (306 kilometers per hour).

Apparently, this dust could linger in our planet's atmosphere for several months after the explosion had taken place.

Truth the told, it did pack hundreds of tons of material, so it's no wonder it took a while for it to disperse.

Specialists say that, according to information at their disposal, the dust cloud circled the world and returned to Chelyabinsk. Maybe it got home sick?
