Nurse sharks are usually harmless, won't attack unless provoked

Of all the things one can do when going diving, trying to kiss a shark should probably be the last thing on their list. In fact, it shouldn't be on the list at all.

The video above shows what happened when a diver named Dave attempted smooching a nurse shark. The man carefully turned the shark upside down, and tried planting it a kiss.

Needless to say, the shark did not exactly approve of Dave's romantic intentions towards it. Thus, the fish did not take long to fight back, and sunk its teeth into the diver's lips.

Nurse sharks typically pack some 500 razor-sharp teeth, so it’s no wonder the diver ended up needing more than two hundred stitches.

I dare say this video goes to prove one should never mess with wild animals and just leave them be.
