Although when it comes to discussing sharks targeting humans for one reason or another most people tend to think about great whites and tiger sharks, it seems that bull sharks are also to blame for several incidents which occurred over the years.

This video provides us with some insights into the behavior of this species and explains just why it is that bull sharks can constitute a threat to public safety.

Apparently, although great whites surpass them in terms of size, bull sharks have one major advantage: they have no issues hunting both in the ocean and in fresh waters, which means that the odds of meeting one such specimen are considerably higher than those of stumbling upon other shark species.

Moreover, bull sharks are not very picky when it comes to what is available for lunch, so beach-goers need be extremely careful when swimming in waters where sightings of representatives of this species have been reported.
