Oscar-winning short animated film gets very unofficial and naughty sequel

One of the best short animation films to come out in years (according to many) is Disney’s “Paperman,” which also won an Oscar at the 2013 edition of the prestigious awards show. Above is what would be a (rather shameless) sequel to it.

“Paperman” is the story of a man and a woman who meet by chance at the train station. A series of eerie coincidences brings them together eventually but, throughout the entire film, they never actually say a word.

The paperman’s papers bring the two together and, in the brand new College Humor spoof sequel, also come in between them in bed.

Called “Paperman Threesome,” the spoof looks at the romance of the two from a very practical point of view: what happens after they’re reunited, how not talking to each other would translate in real life and, more importantly, how the papers that played such a crucial part in their romance would “behave” afterwards.

To paraphrase one commenter from YouTube, this spoof ruins one of the best animations of recent years – but it does it so brilliantly that it’s hard to take offense. Enjoy!
