About 8 weeks ago, on July 8, a pair of cheetah cubs was born at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Virginia.

About two weeks later, they were flown to the Dallas Zoo in Texas, where they have remained ever since.

Keepers say the baby cheetahs, named Winspear and Kamau, are growing stronger every day. Staff at the Dallas Zoo has already chosen their future careers, so they don't even have this to worry about.

“Winspear and Kamau will become important animal ambassadors for the Dallas Zoo, building appreciation and awareness about cheetahs to more than 900,000 visitors each year,” zoo employee Sean Green explains.

The cubs spend most of their time either sleeping or playing. Check out the video above to get a better idea of how their daily routine unfolds.

According to Zoo Borns, the cheetah cubs have even made a new friend: a 8-week-old black Labrador whom they treat as if it were one of their own.

The pup, named Amani, is still too young to be ashamed about socializing with a bunch of cats. Here's hoping the three will remain friends for many days to come.
