The video below is now making rounds on the Internet, and it's not all that difficult to figure out why. Simply put, this footage might just be some of the wackiest to have hit the online community in quite a while.

According to Huffington Post, the video was shot by visitors to Budapest Zoo in Hungary a little over a month ago. It shows a bear rescuing a crow from drowning, and then returning to feasting on apples and carrots.

It is still unclear how it was that the poor bird ended up splashing around in the pool inside this bear's enclosure. What is pretty obvious, however, is that, had it not been for the bear, it would have surely drowned.

Unless you've spent your entire life hiding under a rock in the middle of nowhere, you are probably familiar with the fact that bears don't have a very good reputation. On the contrary, most people fear them and see them as no more and no less than fierce predators.

As it turns out, this isn't exactly true. Bears might be quite gifted when it comes to securing their next meal but, be it only every once in a while, they can be surprisingly friendly, as the crow featured in this video learned from personal experience.
