Otters are known to be agile swimmers once they're adults. Still, as this video shows, baby otters are absolutely clueless during their first few weeks of life.

Because of this, their mom must drag them into the water and pretty much force them into learning how to swim.

Molalla, the baby river otter shown in this video, was born at the Oregon Zoo back in January.

Up until recently, his mom allowed him to simply sit around and enjoy life. However, the time has come for Molalla to learn how to both swim and dive.

Granted, Tilly, as this baby river otter's mom is named, will probably not be presented with the “Most Compassionate Teacher” award anytime soon, yet the fact remains that Molalla must learn how to swim and somebody needs to teach him how to do it, regardless of the methods they employ.
