14 DAY TRIAL // Remakes of classic kids tales are all the rage in Hollywood these days, and the latest production, “Maleficent,” aims to bring yet another favorite to our attention, “Sleeping Beauty.” In the newest sneak peek video, you can see Angelina Jolie looking menacing in the role of the evil witch.
Though her look is enhanced by the use of prosthetics, there's no hiding Angelina's eerie beauty as she dons a pair of large ram horns to trick Sleeping Beauty, played by Elle Fanning.
For Jolie, this is not the first time she's portrayed an evil character. The computer-animated production of “Beowulf” saw her embody Grendel's Mother, a demonic creature that looked, nonetheless, stunningly beautiful.
In the video, the presentation of the story is done in parallel with the classic Disney animation, revealing where the film gets its inspiration from.
The film “Maleficent” is due for release in theaters on May 30 and it's already generating quite a buzz among fans.
