In the first days of January, Acer pulled out of the bag a tablet, called the Iconia A1-830. The device seems like the perfect companion for customers who don’t want to spend a lot when they go shopping for slates.

The Acer Iconia A1-830 is not yet available for purchase, but when it will arrive on the market it will probably sell for around €169 / $231.

Anyway, in anticipation of the launch, Acer has posted the first promo video for the slate, which details some of important features of the device.

And by watching it, we get to find out another piece of information too. Acer plans to upgrade the device to Android 4.4 KitKat.

I already told you, the PC maker has been said to be prepping the software update for a number of its tablets, but so far we only knew of the Iconia B1-720. The new build is said to arrive somewhere in April/May.
