It feels like “The Amazing Spider-Man” has been promoted for ages, considering how much footage Sony has been releasing from it. Yet, there's more: just check out the videos included with this blog post.

Ahead of its July 3 release, Sony has released a 25-minute B-roll documentary showing how some of the scenes were shot.

Fans will know that production on the film has already wrapped, so this is just a way to give you a fair idea of what you'll see on the big screen once the completed movie drops.

Though we're Spidey fans, we have to say: this does feel a bit desperate. Mayhaps not all of us want to see the behind the scenes footage before the actual film, and mayhaps we still want to be surprised by the finished product.

To paraphrase what other fans are saying online, “The Amazing Spider-Man” will probably be a good film, but it picked the worst summer possible to come out.

The Spider is afraid of The Bat.
