Operation: Omega Dawn is the name of the downloadable pack Sony announced to be available next month. As the name suggests, the action will be set at nighttime and the new map will be populated with industrial buildings such as building complexes and huge industrial towers.

It was this August when Warhawk went online on Playstation and now this game of multiplayer military confrontation gets its first expansion that is said to enhance the gameplay experience and expand the strategic elements. In this game you can pilot massive battleships and engage in great battles, on foot, in ground vehicles or in the air. The weapon package includes missiles, rockets, sniper rifles, flame throwers etc while the terrain is fully interactive.

Omega Factory is the name of the new battlefield - a new, industrial world that comes packed with five new layouts of buildings, the largest areas this game has seen so far. A serious new "toy" will be available, called the KT-424 Combat Dropship. This aircraft will be able to transport six soldiers and one ground vehicle at once and will use a heavy cannon (the MBEC-3 Heavy Support Cannon) to destroy everything in sight. However, this new aircraft will be available only after the player gains control of one weapon factory - there will be many in the game world, so it shouldn't be a huge problem.

All the game modes are supported by the new locations (like Team Deathmatch, Zone Mode, Capture the flag etc.) and the five big layouts from the original battlefields have been modified to include the KT-424 Combat Dropship, since the game will be full of vertical gameplay, including some locales accessible only by airborne deployment (ship decks, platforms and rooftops).

All these will be available in December, downloadable from the PlayStation Network. An exact date or a price haven't been mentioned yet.
