This week, the test servers for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning are said to receive the 1.2 patch for the MMO, with Mythic Entertainment aiming to offer the patch to all players sometime in March.

Mark Jacobs posted in the official forums of the game in order to detail the patch and dubbed it “the Bugs, Careers, RvR, Bugs, Items and Bugs Patch” to make sure players get what the developers are trying to do with it.

As previously reported, the patch will see the game get two new character classes, the Dwarf Slayer and the Orc Choppa, which are set to be introduced to the game various Live Events planned by Mythic. The company is also focusing on the Witch Elf, the Witch Hunter, the Chosen, the Knight, the Black Orc and the Swordmaster in order to make sure that these careers are well balanced and fully playable.

Improvements are also coming to Realm versus Realm combat, in the form of the Zone Domination system set to be complemented by improved Siege weapons and the Rallying Cry mechanics, which we know little about at the moment.

Mythic is addressing the fact that less and less players are now low level and is re-designing the public quest system to make sure that all chapters in one quest can be completed by as little as three players joining. The Easy Public Quests system is now coming to tiers two, three and four.

Mythic is also making some changes to the way the User Interface works by delivering the possibility of adding multiple attachments to e-mail messages sent from the game. All to make sure that players keep their interest in Warhammer Online.

Since launch, the game has been steadily losing subscribers. After the first month, as many as 650,000 players were said to be enjoying the MMO, while at the moment only about 300,000 players are actively participating in Warhammer Online.
