Developer Digital Extremes is celebrating one year since its free-to-play third-person shooter Warframe went live, offering players some celebratory gear and, of course, using everyone's favorite way of showing MMO statistical data, a mighty infographic sporting whopping numbers.

There are close to 8 million users registered to the game so far, and Digital Extremes is offering all of them in the First Anniversary Edition of Warframe's Dex Furis weapons free of charge.

The weapons kit is available to all PC players until April 2, at 11:59 EDT / 5:59 GMT, along with an Excalibur Proto-Armor Skin, and all players have to do in order to claim them is log on.

The freebies will also come to the PlayStation 4 users of Warframe, packed in the console version's next update.

So, let's dig into the meaty stats. From March 18, 2013, when there were only 332k registered users for Warframe, the game grew to 7.8 million, as the March 18, 2014 figure shows. The PlayStation 4 version played no small role in achieving the impressive number, as there currently are 1.7 million console players of Warframe.

Moving further, the data shows that Warframe is the second mos downloaded app on Sony's PlayStation 4 home entertainment system, and has been among the top 5 free-to-play games on Steam since the launch of its open beta, as well as being among the top 10 most played games on Raptr.

The iOS and Android Warframe Nexus companion app has registered an aggregate of over 100k downloads, the game gathered an impressive 175k likes on Facebook and 82k followers on Twitter, and spawned more than 248k related videos on YouTube.

Its forums are teeming with life, with over 600k members discussing 166k different topics, as is its in-game clan ecosystem, numbering over 224k unique player clans.

Its players have crafted more than 2.4 million Warframes since its launch last year, and an astounding 13 million weapons.

The Warframe population seems to enjoy destroying shield drones, as over 1 million have been shot down each and every day, over the course of more than 500k completed missions.

The total number of experience points accumulated by the Warframe community is too ridiculous to even render, but suffice it to say that the daily grind awards close to 20 billion xp points to PC users and over 5 billion to PlayStation 4 players every day.

Warframe is available as a free-to-play title on PC, and since November last year on the PlayStation 4 platform.
