I wonder what the gadget manufacturers would do without the greatest shopping addicts of all the women. And let's face it. The guys get the business and severe-look gadgets and the girls the colorful Swarovski fever. And I'll give you only two examples. Do you remember Siemens Escada or Rocking Rio? You bought the phones without even thinking, didn't you?

But now come the high-class gadgets: some earbuds with encrusted diamonds and crystals which are, by the way, heart shaped. The maker is Asian - Elecom Japan which named its latest product the "Ear Drops". Doesn't it resemble a perfume's name? Well, I think it is meant to catch the girls' attention and it will surely do.

The earbuds, besides the fact that they look like earrings, are fully compatible with almost any MP3 and CD players, portable radios, PC audio or portable DVD players. The Ear Drops also sport a standard 1/8" Stereo connector which is compatible with most portable devices.

The Ear Drops are available in two versions: the white and the black which weigh only 3 grams coming in a size of 12, 13 and 21 mm.

For the guys, we have the high-tech earbuds that come only in a glossy looking black and feature Triple Hi-Definition Drivers - one tweeter and two woofers, sound isolating sleeves that block over 90 percent of ambient noise, a Push-To-Hear Control that activates, and a VoicePort microphone enabling conversation without removing your earphones. The VoicePort microphone capability has been developed to pick up the human voice, and it is similar to the microphones used in Shure QuietSpot cellular headsets.
