The huge retailer will stop selling the tablets and eReaders when current stock is done

Walmart has apparently just decided not to sell anymore Amazon Kindle tablets and eReaders. This is really bad news for Amazon and the modest pricing of its tablets was in perfect sync with Walmart’s “cheap and affordable” image.

Moreover, considering just how big Walmart is, Amazon is apparently losing its retail presence on almost half the globe.

It’s not that Amazon won’t sell the stuff online just fine, but the retail absence will make a dent in the company’s sales for the moment.

Amazon might also open its own retail stores, just like Apple’s outlets and Microsoft’s future stores as, unlike the two giants, Amazon has much more merchandise to offer to the general public.

Nevertheless, this is a very surprising move from Walmart and we’re very curious about its reason.
