WebObjects has officially announced the availability of the WOWODC 2008 recordings online. As a bonus, the package also includes the DirectToWeb session from WOWODC 2007, bringing the total hours of content to 14. The WebObjects Community Association thanks Apple for the leasing of a MacBook Pro and Survs for hosting its satisfaction survey.

“The wait is finally over!,” the WebObjects Community Association says. “The recordings of our successful event held on June 7th and 8th 2008 are now available for sale. As a bonus, we are also including the DirectToWeb session from WOWOWDC 2007!”

“The package includes over 14 hours of content useful to anyone with an interest in WebObjects, whether they are a new developer or an old hand,” the association continues.

According to WebObjects, the package price for all videos is currently $150 USD ($175 CAD + Canadian-special taxes). This is a special offer that ends on January 31, when pricing will be set at $200 USD ($230 CAD + taxes). Interested parties are advised to grab the QuickTime content while they can. In doing so, viewers will be offered insight in the following areas:

• Using third party frameworks such as Project Wonder, Houdah Frameworks, Wirehose and LEWOStuff; • Building Web 2.0 applications with WebObjects and Ajax and Adobe Flex; • Creating a Java desktop application that uses EOF, WebObjects’s powerful framework for data access; • Best practices; • How to use various WebObjects tools, including WOLips, Shark, Eclipse, and JProfiler; • How to unleash the power of DirectToWeb.

The WebObjects Community Association thanks everyone who has made this possible, including the speakers; the guests at the event, BoxOffice Tickets for the event registration handling; HumanIT and Boris Herman for their help to fix the audio of the recording; Johan Henselman for the wireless microphones; OS communications informatiques for hosting the community Web site and their help on the event;  Apple for the leasing of a MacBook Pro, and Survs for hosting the satisfaction survey.

All sessions can be viewed on your Mac or PC, as long as you have QuickTime installed, as well as your iPhone or iPod.
