The W40 is the best while the W10 is the most modest of the lot

There was a time when earphones didn't have even half of the benefits of headphones with earcups, but Westone once again shows that those times are long gone.

The Westone W-Series, from the powerful W40 to the entry-level W10, use the company balanced armature drivers, for higher sonic purity than on other in-ear audio output devices.

They also have the EPIC cable (easy to replace with custom cables), an Apple MFi cable with 3-button controls and integrated microphone.

Then, there's the True-Fit technology, which makes the earbuds fit well without causing discomfort over time.

Truly, the number of armature drivers is the only trait that sets apart the W-Series. W10 is made to be compact and ergonomic, W20 is more a professional tool, W30 is for artists, and W40 is “the premier 4-driver system with 3-way crossover that yields the finest audio available today from any earphone.”

In that order, the prices are of $200 / €200, $300 / €300, $400 / €400 and $500 / €500.
