Nuance Voice Control is now available for all subscribers that use the Blackberry phone models and several other smartphones or handsets. All that they need in order to start using the service is a Rogers Wireless subscription. After all these requirements are met, the world of voice mobile phone activation is available.

Nuance Voice Control is another application that will make the lives of phone users easier. Instead of typing, they can directly command their phone what to do. It may seem a bit too much of a luxury at first, but considering the fact that mobile phones come with extremely tiny buttons on their keypad, a brighter light is cast on such a facility.

We've had voice calling for some time now. Furthermore, we can even have our SMS messages written according to a voice recording. Internet use was only the next step left to be facilitated. Nuance Voice Control offers all the needed help for faster, more efficiently email writing, texting, voice dialing and web searching.

"From surfing the Web or reading the day's top news, to sending email without typing while they're on the go, Nuance Voice Control helps BlackBerry users enjoy the convenience of spoken commands that are easier and faster than typing or navigating complex menus", said Michael Thompson, vice president and general manager, search and communications, Nuance.

The Voice Control application proves to be quite easy to use. After being installed, all that the user has to do is utter simple, intuitive voice commands, such as "Find Sharp restaurant, near Welton street", "call John at work" or "go to Web site nuance.com".

Nuance Voice Control is available at Roger Wireless for a monthly subscription of USD 6. The downloading process is quite simple, as the only thing the user has to do is click the "Do more" icon on their mobile phone. Among the models that support such a service, there are also Blackberry 7130e, 9703e, 8100 and 8800.
