Starting with the third quarter

Sony Ericsson together with Vodafone, the cell phone operator, have announced the appearance of a new model of Sony Ericsson V600i model specifically designed for Vodafone's international network.

The phone combines quality and elegance with state of the art connectivity options, Sony Ericsson V600i being usable in 3G UMTS networks and facilitating fast data transfers.

With this phone, Vodafone users will be able to download music on the V600i, to make video calls, or to benefit form 3G services offered through the Vodafone Live! mobile portal.

From the list of technical specifications, we mention only: 1.3MP digital camera with 4X digital zoom, 262,000 color display, Java 3D, radio and 32MB of memory. The phone is Bluetooth, USB and infrared connectable and supports polyphonic ringtones. The battery ensures 370 hours in stand-by and 8 hours of continuous talking.

V600i will be available starting with the third quarter in the Vodafone network, most likely at the end of July. The price has not been announced, but it is estimated that it will be somewhere around 350 Euros.
