Today, mobile phone carrier Vodafone UK officially announced plans to add the latest Windows Phone 8 devices out there to its offering starting with February 6.

The carrier has spent the last couple of months testing these devices to ensure that they will provide full compatibility with its network, and it is currently ready to put them up for sale, it seems.

“Since announcing that we’d be stocking the phones in a post late last year, we’ve been working day and night to get the new breed of Windows Phone devices through our network tests unscathed,” the carrier announced in a blog post.

Five Windows Phone 8 devices will land on shelves at Vodafone UK, including the Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620, as well as the Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S by HTC.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Nokia Lumia 920 arrives on shelves with a large 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ screen, as well as with a dual-core processor inside, and an 8-megapixel PureView camera on the back, with full HD video recording.

“The 4G-ready Lumia 920 is Nokia’s new flagship. And rightly so; it’s a powerful, colorful, colossal phone. The PureView camera is Nokia’s ace in the hole, here. It’s going to be available in both black and yellow from 6th February,” the carrier notes.

Lumia 820 arrives on shelves with a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core processor inside, 1GB of RAM, and an 8MP camera on the back, however without the PureView technology. It will land at Vodafone in black and red.

Furthermore, the Lumia 620 smartphone is the cheapest in the series, packing a 3.8-inch display, a 1GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. Set to arrive on shelves in blue or white, it will also feature swappable, colorful backplates.

Windows Phone 8X by HTC was unveiled with a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core CPU and 1GB of RAM, as well as with an 8-megapixel camera on the back, and will arrive on shelves in California Blue and Black.

As for the Windows Phone 8S by HTC, it was unveiled as the smaller flavor of 8X, but also capable of providing a great experience while on the go. The smartphone will be launched in Atlantic Blue, Vodafone UK announced.
