14 DAY TRIAL // Vodafone UK announced on Wednesday that, starting April 10, its pay-as-you-go customers will be offered the Vodafone Freedom Packs, providing them with 50 GBP worth of minutes and texts for only 10 GBP, which means they will have the possibility to chat or text more. The new Vodafone Freedom Packs are added to the Free Weekends and Text Unlimited offerings the carrier has, offering pay-as-you-go customers the chance to opt between three great value plans.
The new Vodafone Freedom Packs include both minutes and text, and are available for purchase either by using existing credit or through a debit or credit card. The mobile phone operator offers three Packs to users, namely 10 (300 Texts 100 Minutes), 15 (600 Texts 200 Minutes) and 20 GBP (Unlimited Texts 300 Minutes), each of them lasting 30 days. The minutes included in the packages can be used to call “any network, all 01, 02 and 03 landlines and voicemail at any time of the day,” the operator says.
The company also announced that, in case one used all of the texts and minutes included in a Vodafone Freedom Pack, he/she would then pay the standard rate for calls and texts using TopUp until the 30-day period was over. After that, users would be able to opt for either purchasing another pack or moving to another plan, like the Free Weekends or Text Unlimited.
The new Vodafone Freedom Packs have been added to the operator's offering for the pay-as-you-go customers, who can benefit from great value rates for international calls and an IOU service. In addition, they will also be able to use TopUp to browse the Internet, get in touch with friends over social networking sites or check their email.
Those who would like to acquire one of the Packs simply have to call 2345 from their mobile phone and then follow the instructions to select the Pack that suits them best. At the same time, they will be able to call the same number to get information on the texts and minutes left in the Pack, as well as to be updated on their credit balance.
