It was just two days ago that we showed you the leaked screenshots for the new Viva Pinata, in development at Microsoft, and now we're ready to give you all the details regarding the new release. The first surprise, keeping in mind that it was a secret project, is the fact that the game will be released quite soon, in September this year. As usual, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise is presented as an Xbox 360 exclusive, but we'll probably also see it on PCs a few months later.

The story is quite simple: Professor Pester and his Ruffians have wiped out all the computer records from Pinata Central and your job is to rebuild the database. You'll have to send your cute little animals at parties all over the world but, as in the first game, your most important job will be taking care of your garden. For the first time in a Viva Pinata game, multiplayer modes will be available - cooperative for sure, but it seems as if a kind of vs. mode is also available (no details on the matter were given, so it's just a guess).

Customization will also be taken to the next level: first of all, when it comes to the garden, you will be able to plant much more than just grass, in order to make the most exotic pinata species feel like home (for example, you can add snow and sand to your garden). Also, more sci-fi gardens will also become possible since you will be able, using themed object packs, to create space centers, pirate coves or even haunted graveyards. And, in order to populate your fully customized garden, you will receive from Microsoft no less than 32 new pinatas to choose from (still, some of them will be bad pinatas).

The even more sci-fi feature will be the implementation of the Xbox Live Vision camera in the game: you will only have to flash a printed pinata card to the camera and that specific contend will automatically drop to your garden.

Save for all these new things, we'll get the same fun and colorful world of pinatas and we, here at Softpedia, can hardly wait to get our hands on the game and play it!
