Described as a “concise encyclopedia of surprising facts at hand”, Geo Walk offers iOS device owners the possibility to discover the world around them with educational facts about the most interesting things around the globe.

According to its makers, Geo Walk includes roughly 300 articles with striking facts. The application features what is described as an “eye candy interface” offering smooth navigation, a category filter and two viewing modes. With 3 main categories to browse through - Places, Flora and Fauna - Geo Walk users can look for information in all categories, or they can filter their results by each category in part. Colorful pictures accompany all entries. These can be viewed in a cover-flow or object mode. The app’s iTunes description includes the following key features:
