14 DAY TRIAL // Since Electronic Arts obtained the exclusive rights to develop Star Wars games, the publisher/developer is said to have a few titles in the works. Three of its best studios are now working on different games in the franchise, but only one of them has been officially unveiled.
DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront should be a shooter, something that the studio is very good at, given its previous experience with Battlefield franchise.
However, this is not the only Star Wars game in development at EA. Visceral, makers of Dead Space series, is also said to be working on another title in the beloved sci-fi franchise. Bioware is rumored to be involved in a Star Wars project as well, but no additional details on the title have been leaked yet.
We do expect more Star Wars reveals this year, including the one that Visceral is working on. Until then though, we’re left with the teasers that developers feed us in order to raise the hype around the game or out of the kindness of their hearts.
That’s what has probably happened recently when Amy Hennig, an ex-Naughty Dog writer who worked at Uncharted franchise and is now one of the creative minds behind Visceral’s Star Wars game, shared some thoughts on her work.

Replying to a fan who is disappointed that Amy isn’t writing for the Uncharted series any more, she said that she couldn’t wait to show what she’s been working on at Visceral along with Todd Stashwick.
Famous Todd Stashwick star is co-writing with Amy Hennig the story of the untitled Star Wars game in development at Visceral, and he was equally excited about their work. According to him, they are making something very cool, a game that he will be excited to play.
Even though this isn’t telling too much about Visceral’s upcoming Star Wars game, at least we’re entitled to believe it will have a great story seeing that Amy Hennig and Todd Stashwick are the creative talents behind it.
