During Nintendo's three-week long Hanabi Festival, Europe's Virtual Console fans are introduced to games not originally released outside America and Japan. Last week was Mario-week and this week here is ninja week, with games such as Ninja Gaiden and Ninja JaJaMaru-Kun, available now for download at just 600 Wii Points each. The third title made available by Nintendo is the Turbografx sports title World Class Baseball. You can read their official descriptions below:

Ninja Gaiden (1989 Nintendo Entertainment System) - In this game, players take on the role of Ryu Hayabusa on a quest across the USA looking for his missing father. This game is famed for its cinematic-style presentation and challenging action. This version of the game is the original North American release and is available now for 600 Wii Points.

Ninja JaJaMaru-Kun (1985 Japanese Famicom), translated into English: 'determined little ninja'. This quirky action-platformer was hugely popular in Japan when originally released and it is a unique opportunity for European gamers to discover a little-known but much-loved game like this. Players in Ninja JaJaMaru-Kun battle their way to the top of multiple stages, dispatching enemies by throwing stars and continuing their quest to save Princess Sakura from the wicked Lord Namazu. Ninja JaJaMaru-Kun is available now for 600 Wii Points.

Outside of the Hanabi Festival but also available this week, is the Turbografx original sports title, World Class Baseball - this sports simulation allows players to choose from a selection of twelve different teams before competing against a friend or the computer to become the ultimate baseball champ. World Class Baseball is available now for 600 Wii Points.

These three titles have joined the already available 138 classic titles on the Virtual Console in Europe, so there's plenty more to be downloaded and played. These three are just the latest additions to the service. All right then, have fun!
