Sometimes, all you need is just a little break to finally get to prove your worth to the world. The same applies to Ylvis, a duo from Norway working steadily in showbiz but only attaining worldwide fame this month.

As it happens, they did so with what I would describe as the most annoying but quite entertaining song, “The Fox.”

Bård Urheim Ylvisåker and Vegard Urheim Ylvisåker uploaded the official video for it on YouTube on September 3, and it’s now counting with over 22.5 million views.

“The Fox” aims to answer the age-old question of “what does the fox say?” which has been tormenting scholars worldwide (said no one, ever). It also doubles as a proper textbook for other animals and their favorite means of communication.

To better drive the point across, the song is accompanied by a video in which all extras and the two singers wear animal costumes.
